Announces a Provisional Appointment for
Accountant

2008 Salary Schedule (currently under negotiation):
Starting Salary – Step 1 $40,202
After 1st Year – Step 2 $42,566
After 2nd Year – Step 3 $44,931
After 3rd Year – Grade Rate $47,296
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession
of a high school equivalency diploma and either;
a) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university
or
one accredited by the NYS Board of Regents with a bachelor’s
degree in accounting and two (2) years of accounting
experience; or
b) Graduation from a regionally accredited NYS college or
university with bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or
business administration, or related field with a minimum of
18
semester credit hours in accounting PLUS four (4) years of
experience in accounting; or
c) An equivalent combination of education and experience as
defined by the limits of (a) and (b) above.
NOTE:
1. At the time of application, candidates who meet the minimum
qualifications with a degree in a field other than accounting
must submit a student copy transcript or an itemized list of
coursework and credits received.
2. Professional level accounting experience shall not include
account keeping and bookkeeping or other clerical financial
record keeping activities.
3. Verifiable part-time and/or volunteer experience will be
rated for
meeting full-time experience requirements.

Nutrition Services Coordinator

2008 Salary Schedule (currently under negotiation):
Starting Salary – Step 1 $41,978
After 1st Year – Step 2 $44,447
After 2nd Year – Step 3 $46,917
After 3rd Year – Grade Rate $49,386
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession
of a high school equivalency diploma and either;
a) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or
one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees
with a bachelor’s degree in foods and nutrition, food service,
nutritional management, or closely related field and three (3) years
of experience in administering a nutrition program or quantity food
services, two (2) years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity;
or
b) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or
one accredited by the New York State board of Regents to grant degrees
with an associate’s degree and five (5) years of experience as
defined in (a), two (2) years of which must have been in a supervisory
capacity; or
c) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defiined
by the limits of (a) and (b).

Case Manager for Elderly Services

2008 Salary Schedule (currently under negotiation):
Starting Salary – Step 1 $32,226
After 1st Year – Step 2 $34,122
After 2nd Year – Step 3 $36,017
After 3rd Year – Grade Rate $37,913
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession
of a high school equivalency diploma and either;
a) Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or
one accredited by the NYS Board of Regents with a bachelor’s
degree; or
b) Possession of a current valid license to practice as a Professional
Registered Nurse and one year of full-time paid work experience in
that professions; or
c) Four years of full-time paid work experience in social casework
or social work in a community or social action program or community
services agency, or as a community service worker or case aide in a
local social services agency; or
d) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined
by the limits of (a), (b), and (c) above.
